Two bottle or decanter coasters, probably late 19th century, an inkwell, c. 1907 and a desk seal, probably early 20th century.

The coasters in silver plate, outer diameter 202 mm, inner diameter 127 mm, with borders formed of vine leaves, grapes and pierced strapwork and with bases covered in green baize; the centre of the interiors engraved with a crest: 'within a strap and buckle bearing the motto VINCIT QUI CURAT a lion's head erased and collared'. Good condition.

The inkwell in moulded glass, 76 mm square and 82 mm high, with a silver cap struck with the hallmarks for the London assaying year 1907-08 and the maker's mark of the Goldsmiths' and Silversmiths' Company, the lid engraved within a plain disc with the initials C.M.D.. Good condition.

The desk-seal, 45mm high, having a a quartz handle mounted at the top, and upon an engraved four-leaved clover, a cabochon-cut 'ruby'; the gilt matrix engraved, in reverse, with the Crest used by the Dobell family ('on a mount, a hart lodged, between four bullrushes'); enclosed within a fitted box bearing the retailer's name: HARRODS LONDON, S.W..
