Two ‘crane and trigram’ bowls
With rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, the exterior painted in underglaze blue with trigrams divided by clouds and cranes in flight, all above stylised rocks and waves; the interior with a diaper band around the mouth, a flowerhead medallion in the centre of the well encircled by waves, the slightly convex base with an apocryphal Xuande mark. Period: 17th century. Diameter: 13,5 cm.
