Text of the speech that Dumas, Jr. delivered at the graveside of his friend Montigny, director of the Gymnase and husband of the actress Rose Chéri.
Dedication to Alice Ozi [sic]
The delightful Alice Ozy, an actress and woman of the world, who was selective about her suitors. Among them were the Duke of Aumale, the banker Perrégaux, Théophile Gautier, Chassériau, and Charles, the son of Victor Hugo. It does not appear that Dumas Fils was her lover.
