Two fun and unusual crates
made of silver plated metal, modeled after the Mussy poplar crates. These containers were used to transport fruits and vegetables to markets throughout the 20th century. One is oval-shaped, the other rectangular with an openwork design, both featuring imitation staples and nails that were used to assemble them.
