1st: Designed as a spider with a blister pearl abdomen and circular-cut ruby cephalothorax, the legs set with rose-cut diamonds, closed back settings throughout, 2nd: The oval-cut orange topaz in a foiled closed back setting, within a surround of half pearls, 1st: late 19th century composite, 2nd: converted from a 19th century jewel, lengths: 1st 3.4cm, 2nd 1.9cm (2)
