Two gem-set brooches.

A blue gem cluster bar brooch, stamped 750, partially indistinct, length 5.7cms, 3.7gms.

A purple paste bar brooch, length 6.2cms, 7gms.

Condition Report:
- Blue gem brooch with general light marks and wear. Blue gems possibly glass. Blue gems with some light abrasions. Appears to be stamped 750 to pin, partially indistinct. Metal tests as approximately 18ct gold.

- Purple paste brooch with some light to moderate marks and wear. Metal appears slightly rough in some areas. Paste with some light abrasions. Metal test as approximately 17 to 18ct gold.

- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
- Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
