Each on plain base, with hinged lid, the profuse and repeating decoration consisting of larger interlocked scrolling tendrils within cartouches and hanging palmettes and lobed medallions amidst further scrollwork, the hinged flat lid with geometric design containing palmettes, trefoils and scrollwork, signed to the base, one with clasp lock, the other with key lock, the key now lacking
