each of typical form, with applied steel bosses, the surface decorated with silver-damascened scrolling arabesques in relief and fine engraved floral and foliate motifs, the border with brass floral band

Condition Report:
The design very fine, silver tarnished and could benefit from a clean, the surface with some erosion and patches of oxidisation, slight encrustation between protruding designs, reverse also with erosion and visible sections which affixed design, two small hooks, similar condition on both shields although one with more noticeable erosion, as viewed.
