Two spherical amethyst geodes, 930.00g
Two amethyst geodes specimens of spherical form, very well to well polished exterior to a smooth finish, each one revealing an internal cavity. The interior of both cavities are entirely lined with densely packed, well-terminated amethyst crystals, of a light to medium violet-purple hue, fairly well saturate, and lustre consistent with quartz crystals. The natural formation includes banding of agate, and crystal growth patterns throughout the polished surface, providing an aesthetic contrast.
The largest sphere measuring approximately 78.0mm in diameter, with a 54.0 by 41.5.0mm oval-shape cavity opening.
The other, measuring approximately 67.0mm in diameter, with a 52.8 by 34.0mm irregular-shape cavity opening.
