Two rare standing wooden figures of Kannon. Japan - Nanboku-cho-periode (1336-1392) to early Muromachi period (15th century) About 600-650 years old Lacquered wood with still traces of gilt. Missing arms and feet on both figures. See photos for details. The robes draped over the shoulders and gathered at the waist.
