Very fine and robust U-boat Flightdeck Chronograph by the Italian Italo Fontana. This watch has a 50 mm black PVD-coated steel 316L case. Crown not included in the measurement. The dial has a rare clear white colour and black hands and markers. It has three sub-dials and a date aperture at the 9 o'clock position. It is furthermore fitted with sapphire glass and is waterproof up to 100 m (swimming – indication, no guarantee) . The screwed steel caseback has a see-through window through which the automatic ETA 7750 movement can be seen in action. The strap is characteristic and an original U-boat. It is 22 mm wide and made of black leather with an original buckle. Suitable for a wrist size of up to 22 cm. The watch is in very good condition - optically 8/10 - with minor signs of wear - scratches on the glass of the case back and some worn PVD coating here and there. . . It works just fine.
