ULTRA RARE "FAIR WEIGH" GOLF SCALE

C. 1930 Colonial Golf Scale Company. The Fair Weigh Golf Scale is a rare piece of Americana. One of only three known to still exist, it incorporated a complex golf game with providing your weight for a penny. In the game, the user swings a small golf club with the turn of a knob, in hopes of sending their penny over the lake, past the obstacles, and into the hole. Fail, and the penny fell into the lake and thus the operator's cash box. CONDITION: Measuring six feet tall, it's in exceptional condition. It is showing light wear overall, with great color to the graphics and wear where you would expect from use. There are light chips to the porcelain at the edges, and retaining the original labels on the top mirror. Feature piece from the life long collection of Bill Howard.
