Korea, both 1957, ink and color on paper, the landscape, depicting a brook, a blooming tree, and a woman with laundry basket on her head; the still life depicting a plum branch, daffodils in a planter, and Buddha's hand citrons, both dated and signed with seal, framed and glazed, landscape 10 3/4 x 9 1/2, still life 17 x 13 in.
Provenance: Private collection in Connecticut, formed in Korea during 1953-57 when the current owner was teaching at a university and working in Cultural Affairs at the American Embassy.
