UNIQUE STARR ARMS CONVERSION REVOLVER

What started life as a typical Starr Arms 6" .44 caliber percussion double action revolver was reworked to accept a self loaded cartridge. A plate has been added to walnut grips to accept a shoulder stock. The front sight is missing. Barrel has some strange worming effect to the conversion refinish. Balance of metal is a nice soft blue brown patina. Barrel was not original to this gun as they did not make an 8" double action. Mfg. stamps can be found on right side of frame. Bore has no rifling so was made to fire shot as was used in Wild West shows at the time which may explain the shoulder stock plate as well. Very good and unusual. A
