Universal Genève has a rich history in producing some of the most iconic chronograph timepieces, especially in the Compax series. The present Uni-Compax, Ref. 884100/01, dates to circa mid-1960s and is among the least common of all Compax watches. Within the case, you will find a "reverse panda" dial with silvered subsidiary registers, in particular an enlarged 45-minute register at 3 o'clock, giving it its name, the "Big Eye."
