U.S. Civil War Era 1860's Hawksley Powder Flask

This is a fantastic U.S. Civil War circa 1860 G. & J. W. Hawksley brass powder flask. The powder flask is ornate with raised scalloped designs, typical of other Hawksley examples. The powder flask is wonderfully and professionally crafted brass construction that shows floral decoration and a buck head on both sides of the powder flask. The clip on the side for filling is a little loose but shows securement on both sides of the flask. The condition of this powder flask is well preserved with some patina to the brass and oxidation to the brass but otherwise shows well preserved overall condition. Not marked or the mark is not seen. The measurements of 8" x 3 1/4" x 3 1/2". The collective weight of this powder flask is U6oz.
