US Picassoesque Cubist Horn Player Sculpture (ScD)

Up for sale from a recent client in Honolulu Hawaii, this 1965 US Picassoesque Cubist style molded Durastone sculpture depicting a horn player on a blond wooden base that was created and is signed by Austin Production. The condition is described below - for more details please check the photos. The sculpture will be professionally packed.
How was this sculpture made?
This sculpture is made of Durastone, not plaster. The casting procedure explained "The caster puts steel armatures, or supports, into the mold. He then mixes the DURASTONE -- a special formulation of crushed stone -- into a slurry which is then poured slowly into the mold.

Sculpture (incl. base) 29 inches x 8 inches wide x 15.7 lb

Condition: The sculpture is overall in good pre-owned condition, minor wear to the surface in places wear to the black finish, the sculpture is made of Durastone (see further description below), the blond wood base with some watermarks in places, the sculpture is signed on the back Austin Production 1965, no repairs"
