US SPRINGFIELD 1903 BOLT ACTION RIFLE.
Cal. 30-06. S# 1499377. Bbl. 24" SA 6-42 dated. Blade front sight with hood. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2750yds. with volley notch. Brown & Sharpe made swept bolt handle. Left side of receiver has Hatcher hole. Arsenal reparkerized finish. WW2 era Remington stock with bottom mounted sling swivels & canvas sling . Left side of stock has strong "FJA" & "RA-P" markings with faint "RA" & Ordnance wheel stamps. CONDITION: stock set has some band removal wear on forend, scattered dings, scratches & handling marks. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework parkerized finish with some finished over pitting on bottom metal, some discoloration on rear sight base & bolt, light oxidation, edge & handling wear.
