US SPRINGFIELD M1-D SNIPER RIFLE

SERIAL NUMBER 1901262 BARREL 24" CALIBER 30-06 SPRINGFIELD MANUFACTURED 1943. Produced in 1943 and rebuilt into the M1-D configuration for the Korean conflict by Springfield Arsenal. SA 10-53 barrel date, M1-D integral scope base, Funnel type flash suppressor and Korean era internal small parts. Wood stock is fitted with leather cheek rest for optics use and contemporary 1905 pattern leather sling. This rifle is possibly a CMP / DCM sales item that came back to the United States from Norway, Greece or Denmark in the 1980's. CONDITION. Good with excellent bore and mechanics. Wood is typical period used with minor bruises and impressions. Rifle is ready to have M84 or M73 scope mounted and taken to the range. No optics are included with this rifle. C&R
