All metal parts with small stained gray patina and traces of oxidation. The cylinder head tail is marked "REMINGTON ILLION. N. Y. U. S. A. PATD. MAY. 3RD. NOV. 15TH 1864. APRIL 17TH 1866. ”. The base plate is unmarked, wand present. Round rifled barrel with good scratches. Stock and handguard in walnut in average condition. Very hard wood with 2 repairs: at the top of the length and on the butt towards the breech tail (see photos) .
