U.S.A. TO PERU - 'BLACK JACK' WITH 10c GREEN PAIR ON COVER TO CALLAO + WWI CENSORED COVER; Attractive 21 Apr. 1864 env. (slightly trimmed at left) from "CUMBERLAND/Md." (blue cds on front) to the "U.S. Ship Fredonia, Callao" and endorsed "c/o U.S. Consul, Panama" and so with a 2c Black Jack plus a pair of 10c Green all cancelled by blue barred circles (one tying the 10c pair) with a v. fine British "PANAMA" cds and red Callao "12" delivery charge all on the front; carried by the PSNC 'Bogota' from Panama to Callao.
