She moved to Tokyo with her parents after graduating Stanford in 1946 and studied painting under Tsuguharu Foujita. Condition Report: each with pale time staining, scattered pinholes and thin spots (inherent to age and paper), some nicks or minor areas of paper loss along the extreme sheet edges, colors fresh, block numbers attached on a small piece of paper verso. Prints have been maintained out of sunlight and in an excellent state of preservation by Mrs. Angell and her heirs since her return from Japan.
