Ufficio Prohetti GavinaSforzecaThree-seater sofa Rigid polyurethane frame, original velvet upholsterySimon International Edition1987H72 × L215 × D90 cm Designed by Dino Gavina’s design studio as a tribute to Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, who passed away in 1968, this sofa evokes the close ties between the Bolognese manufacturer and the Castiglioni brothers, leading figures in Milanese design. The rigid polyurethane frame creates clean, continuous lines, elegantly clad in the original velvet. The name appears to refer to Milan’s Castello Sforzesco, the city where the Castiglioni brothers developed the bulk of their work. Preserved in its original upholstery, the sofa stands as an authentic testament to Gavina’s production.
