The company was founded in 1846 by Ulysse Nardin in Le Locle, Switzerland. Ulysse Nardin, along with Louis Jean. Richard-dit-Bressel and Henri Grandjean, is considered the founder of the Swiss marine chronometer industry and manufacturer of first-class wristwatches.
Rare collector's watch from ULYSSE NARDIN LOCLE SUISSE. Very nice original condition.
The watch was manufactured around 1950
Original silver dial. Arabic golden time numbers. Small second on the nine. 30 minute counter on the three. Gold-colored spear hands and blued chronograph hands. Red telemetre scale. Black minute scale, blue km/h external scale. Marked ULYSSE NARDIN LOCLE SUISSE.
Original work marked ULYSSE NARDIN SWISS. Chatons and gold wheels. Very nice original condition of the work. Caliber Valjoux 23. Collector's caliber.
Movement and chronograph working.
Screwed back cover. Smooth outside. Inside acier inoxydable company hallmark Ulysse Nardin loclr 63490.
Watch size: 35mm without crown. With crown 38mm - weight 43. 8g
The watch is in very nice original condition and is very well preserved.
Fine, elegant brown leather strap - 17mm. Length with clock 23 cm. The leather strap will not be shipped to countries outside the EU.
