The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The watch is in excellent overall condition with minor surface wear to the case that can be seen with the naked eye.

This watch is part of Ulysse Nardin's Astronomical Trilogy, which consisted of the Astrolabium Galileo Galilei, the Planetarium Copernicus and the Tellurium Johannes Kepler. The Tellurium was launched in 1992. It displays a rotating earth with the North pole as its centre to indicates what part is lit by the sun. It also features a dragon hand for eclipses of the sun and moon. In addition to that, the Tellurium indicates the zodiac signs and the sunrise and sunset.
