Such figurines are found all over central Italy, but particularly in southern Umbria. G. Colonna in Bronzi votivi umbro-sabellici a figura umana. I. Periodo ‘arcaico’ (Florence, 1970), categorised the votive figures into groups according to their stylistic affinities, and the find sites, even if this is not always their likely place of manufacture.
