In acid free mylar envelope. Charles Joseph Traviès de Villers 1804 - 1859, French caricaturist and painter, b. Switzerland. He founded and was a prolific contributor to the popular journal Charivari (1831) and drew for Caricature (1838). He helped to illustrate Balzac's works (1848?55).
