Uncut Vertical Strip of (3). VA-123 to 125. Virginia. October 20, 1777. $1/3 to $1. PCGS Currency New 62.

No. 2447. These notes are scarce individually in Uncirculated grades let alone being uncut as a strip. All are seen with lovely ink quality throughout and strong penned details. Sheet folds between the notes is all that we can see that limits the grade. The only other multiple we have sold was a strip of three, also at this same PCGS New 62 grade level, which realized over $4,000 in our 2014 Winter Baltimore sale. This is certainly a piece that will be a highlight in any collection of Colonial Currency.

Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.
