A Giambatista Valli for Ungaro burnt orange hue evening dress from the 2002 spring ready to wear collection.

This evening design is composed of a matte jersey, sleeveless, high neckline, asymmetric gathering concentrated at the left hip, finished with an asymmetric multi-tier ruffled hem. The gown has a fitted silhouette that showcases an hourglass shape with the asymmetry elongating the torso. An Emanuel Ungaro label is sewn on the interior neckline.

Giambatista Valli became the creative director of Ungaro in 2001 with his premiere collection being the spring 2002 runway show. He apprenticed with master couturier and was able to showcase his skills of gathering, draping, and pattern design.
