Unidentified Artist, Seagull, 20th Century Screenprint
Seagull is a screenprint in deep violet-gray ink on paper. A gull crosses the upper half of a nearly empty field, with faint clouds placed low beneath it and a narrow white rule enclosing the composition. The verso is stamped “SEAGULL” and inscribed “NR67,” which was an inventory notation. Sheet measures approximately 24 × 18 inches. Condition is poor, with pronounced wrinkling and curling throughout, creases across the upper portion, edge tears, and paper loss at the upper-left corner. Additional handling wear, surface scuffing, folded corners, and substantial verso toning are present. Provenance of Martin and Enid Gleich.
