Very nice English percussion pistol from the mid-19th century. Officer’s weapon with a belt hook, signed by the 2 Egg brothers of London, very well-made. Damascus barrel with 6 sides. The lock, hammer and trigger guard are adorned with foliage scrolls. The rod is removable, the hammer is swan-necked and the screw is engraved. The barrel is smooth and thick at the muzzle. The butt is made of finely gridded walnut ending in a removable cap that opens to store fulminate capsules.
