The necklace contains 39 South Sea and Tahitian pearls measuring 9x11. 5mm in diameter, creating a graduation to the front of the necklace. Produced by the Pinctada Maxima Oyster in the warm waters off the coasts of Australia, the South Sea pearls have been hand selected for their natural magnificent deep golden and vibrant white colors and for their eye catching lustre. They are combined with lustrous peacock and silvery Tahitian pearls , produced in the tropical lagoons of French Polynesia. The overtones of these pearls are carefully matched in the natural South Sea and Tahitian coloring to create an elegant necklace that is truly unique The pearls have a beautiful nacre quality and a clean surface with some light to moderate natural growth characteristics on the surface that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace.
