Passed as Censored/A. 45" circular cachet in violet; and Aug. 12, 1918 cover to Monticello, N.Y. to a private with the 35th Infantry in the American Expeditionary Force, bearing 1¢ green and 2¢ rose, showing "Deceased verified by/Statistical Division "H.A.E.F." framed handstamp in green; the last cover a little tatty around the edges, otherwise Fine to Very Fine World War I uses
