Lithographed map on two joined sheets (to sight: 1,424 x 728 mm). Lithographed and printed by Julius Bien, New York, partially handcolored in outline; a few stray spots, minor toning and creasing, a few closed tears repaired, old folds and joins reinforced on verso. Matted and framed; not examined out of frame.

As per the extensive legend, the present map depicts the locations of Surveyor and Land Offices, the location of Land Grants in the West, Railroads and Proposed Railroads, Land Districts, and mineral deposits, including gold, silver, copper, iron, and tin.
