Date: c. 1700

Description: Sitting in an interior with travelling panelling, the viewers recognise two male figures in distinguished clothing in the foreground. The older man on the left has his hands clasped and seems to be listening to the words of his neighbour. The latter has leaned over to him and is holding a vessel in his right hand.
