Inscription: On the left in the foreground one of the travellers is still resting in the shade of a tree and startles at the moment of the attack. Verso with collector's mark: Circle with "P".

Description: A small group of travellers stops for a rest on the way and is suddenly surprised.

Condition: Rather good condition. The sheet has been folded several times and bears several vertical crease marks. The right side of the sheet has been additionally reinforced with paper glued to the back. Isolated foxing spots. The print is closely trimmed.
