Description: An exotic and interesting testimony of an African or Oriental traveller of the late 19th century or around the turn of the century. Depicts a lone rider in Bedouin costume on his camel in a desert landscape. The sky in particular has been coloured in bright red tones suggesting either early morning or late evening.
