Description: Monochrome landscape sketch by an anonymous artist who probably travelled in Britain in the late 19th century. From the shore of a large lake in northern England, Wales or Scotland, the artist looks down on a small village with two high church steeples and the walls of a castle, situated on a piece of land that stretches far into the lake.
