A set of eight brass alloy measures, undated

Maker unknown, probably last quarter of the 19th century, comprising: Imperial Gallon, Imperial Half Gallon, Imperial Quart, Imperial Pint, Imperial Gill, Imperial Half Gill, Imperial Quarter Gill and one smaller, unmarked, all numbered 6857, engraved with size. Largest 21cm diameter (width 29cm including handles)

This set of measures is unusually unmarked for a specific county, and may not have been allocated to one.

Condition Report:
There are typical scuffs / dents / scratches and marks. Not all stamped marks are mentioned in the cataloguing, and some may be indistinct / rubbed.

The case is visibly worn with a split across the lid and extensive scratches.

Probably re-lacquered and possibly re-finished
