Unmarked Narrow Spool Fly Reel

A quality reel that is unsigned, having a 2 3/4" diameter and narrow 3/4" wide spool. The full-length foot is also very narrow, and just 7/16" wide, and is attached to the foot pillars with four tiny pins. The head plate features a raised ring that prevents line from getting under the finely sculpted handle with a bone grasp, decorated with thin incised bands, matching the incised bands at the distal ends of each sculpted pillar. The tail plate has a unique button that appears to be a sliding click, however the reel has a fixed click, the switch functioning as a braked, with a plunger style button that requires the angler to apply pressure to act as a drag. Finally the nipple style journal housing has a small oiling port for lubrication on this German silver reel that is in VG+/Ex- condition, showing slight screw head use.
