Condition Report:
This work is in very good condition overall. There are tonal and textural variations throughout the surface of the work, including scattered studio splash, drips, smudges and the artist's shoeprint, the latter in the right quadrant along the upper edge, all inherent to the artist's working method and chosen media. There are staple marks and minor pinholes along the edges of the canvas, due to prior stretching as well as light handling wear and discoloration. There are scattered minor drip accretions to an isolated areas along the upper central edge, visible upon close inspection as well as a further minor drip accretion approximately 10 inches from the extreme right edge of the canvas. Under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of restoration.
