Not in Stephenson. His Nos.12.7 and 49a are most similar in appearance and purpose. Schoolroom chart with national map bottom center with Confederate states outlined as a bloc in red. With four large military portraits at each corner: Winfield Scott, Banjamin F. Butler, Col. Elmer E. Ellsworth and Maj. Robert Anderson, first Union office killed, (called here a General). Top center portrait of Abraham Lincoln, with below in center seven oval portraits of his first cabinet. Letterpress gives brief biographies and population figures. "Dacotath" misspelling on map. No copy in the Library of Congress map collection and possibly unique. Professionally restored and laid down on new linen. Original wooden rods preserved. Small losses to letterpress including parts of names beneath portraits. Hand tinting to map and some uniforms. Rare Early Civil War Chart
