An album in the Library of Congress with many of the same Washington D.C. views is attributed to Uriah Hunt Painter. Contents include: Starting in North Carolina, a railroad journey through the snow, transporting blocks of ice from ship to delivery cart; Waffle vendor near U.S. Treasury, Washington, D.C.; the Easter Egg Roll at the White House. Condition Report: Photographs in overall very good condition. Some views, such as the photographs in the snow are lighter due to the limitations of the Kodak camera and not due to fading. Album lacking spine and edges worn.
