Inscription: Signed on the lower left: "Lefebvre del. et sculp.", next to it: "P. Caliari Ver. P" and on the right: "J. van Campen Formis Venetys.

Description: The print shows the evangelist Mark in classical antique garb. He is sitting on a bull and reading an open book. The print is part of the series "Opera Selectiora" etched by Valetin Levebvre. It is a 53-part print series based on paintings by Titian and Veronese. Jacob Van Campen first published the series in 1682.

Condition: Good condition. The sheet has discoloured according to its age and bears pale foxing, which is especially visible at the upper right margin. The corners of the sheet are damaged and show signs of impact. The upper corners have darkened due to a former mounting. The lower right corner of the sheet has a small loss.
