The case has light scratches throughout. The case has developed patina in some areas. The case has been polished. The back of the lugs show signs of wear. The case back has scratches throughout. The case back has few small dents. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands show age and appear to be original. The dial and hands have developed patina. The printing on the dial is worn in some places, especially in the Vacheron Constantin signature. The Vacheron Constantin cross appears slightly crooked. There appears to be slight water damage to the dial around the 3 o'clock hour marker. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
