Je sais que par la suite le Sénéchal s´est moins bien conduit et qu´en fin de compte la police s´est montrée très compréhensive´ (Translation: ´ I was taken aback by the boarding of the “Sénéchal”, which was, of course, in no way justified from the outset. I know that the Sénéchal subsequently behaved less well and that, in the end, the police were very understanding´), further explaining that the police officers behaved ´de la façon la plus civile malgré l´indignation non dissimulée dont j´ai fait preuve en voyant partir le Sénéchal´ (Translation: ´in the most civilised manner despite the undisguised indignation I showed when I saw the Sénéchal being taken away´) and concluding by adding that he will never know how to thank Amade enough for their unfailing kindness.
