The brilliant-cut diamond pendant set with a 12.0mm cultured pearl of black tint, accented by oval cabochon rubies, terminating with three similarly-set drops, on a two-strand cultured pearl necklace with similarly-set spacers, one forming the clasp, clasp signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 29792, maker's mark VCA, French assay marks, diamonds approximately 13.95 carats total, length 39.5cm, maker's pouch

Condition Report: Diamonds estimated VVS-VS clarity, F-H colour. Rubies of deep and richly saturated red hues. Under 10 X magnification, some inclusions and surface reaching inclusions seen. Black cultured pearls generally well matched - far right drop slightly darker than the others. Green and rose overtones of varying intensities. Very smooth skins with medium to high lustres. Under 10 X magnification and a strong light source, a few pin pricks, scratches and minor blemishes seen. Cultured pearls in two strand necklace of well matched white body colours with strong green and rose overtones and high lustres throughout. Most skins very smooth. Under 10 X magnification, a few very small dimples and a few wrinkled skins seen. Some ends of pearl stringing (not all) with spots of glue visible upon close inspection. Underside of clasp signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 29792 and stamped 750 with a maker's mark VCA. Tongue with 2 x French assay marks (1 x rhino head and 1 x eagle head). Untested yellow metal with light surface wear and some areas of discolouration commensurate with age. Overall in good condition. Weight approx. 109.0 grams.Cultured pearl drops approx. 10.5 x 12.0mm to 12.5 x 13.7mm
