VAN CLEEF & ARPELS FOR ASPREY LACQUERED MINAUDIERE W/RUBY & DIAMOND CLASP

Van Cleef & Arpels for Asprey, Art Deco Minaudière finished in black lacquer, rose gold and silver with a stunning diamond and ruby clasp. Circa 1930's. Marked "Specially made for Asprey La Minaudière de Van Cleef & Arpels" with small square VCA hallmarks, and stamped numbers "44051" and "1666". Complete with original beveled glass, removable compact box, comb and lighter. Measurements: 6" x 4-3/4" x 1-1/8". Small crack to mirror at lower right hand corner, completely stable. Small chip to lacquer on lid of lighter with wear to gold finish. Lighter also signed with small square VCA hallmark to bottom, and marked "B.L" on interior surface. Overall, this case presents in Very Good to Excellent original condition with some light marks and signs of wear commensurate with are and use. Condition: (Very Good-Excellent).
