Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra Coral Diamond 18 karat Yellow Gold Necklace
This Vintage Alhambra necklace is one of the most iconic Van Cleef & Arpels creations since 1968. Chic, elegant and timeless, the necklace is a great addition to your jewelry collection.
What is special about this necklace is that it features four clovers made of Italian Mediterranean coral. Since the gem-quality coral became unavailable, the Maison doesn't use coral anymore in making their jewelry which makes the necklace collectable and highly sought after.
The necklace also features one larger clover in the center fully encrusted with round brilliant cut diamond pave. The diamonds are of E-F color and VVS clarity, total weight approximately 5.50 carats). The gemstones are set in 18 karat yellow gold.
The necklace is 15-1/4 inches (38.6 cm) long and weighs 99.5 grams. The diamond clover measures 1 x 7/8 inch (2.5 x 2 cm), the coral clovers measure 5/8 x 5/8 inch (1.7 x 1.7 cm). Gold links are 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) in diameter.
The necklace is stamped with Van Cleef & Arpels New York maker's mark, hallmarks for 18 karat gold, Italian mark and a serial number.
