Mid 19th - early 20th century. Group comprised of: bone and ivory handled pens with engraved/chased gold plated or gold filled mounts - one marked 'Fairchild 5'; one with agate handle marked 'Aiken Lambert & Co. 3'; one tortoise shell like handle marked 'S. Mordan & Co.' one wood handle with inlaid mother-of-pearl design, marked 'Melanyl Pen'; Together with three glass handled pens. Nine pens without nibs. Overall condition good, wear commensurate with age, one glass handle with chipped tip.
